form translation

Hi all,

I just created a child theme of Coraline and there are some forms in it (logged in users can complete them and submit). Everything works fine but… I’d like to translate the forms in several languages. Now, I think it’s better to put the form texts in a language file (pot), is it correct? In this way when you change WP language variable you switch also theme language, but i’m not sure if it’s necessary to bound my theme language to WP language…
