Form taking 10+ seconds to submit

  • I am running WordPress 6.4.2, GoDaddy hosting, the Twenty Twenty-Four Theme, and only the following plugins are active and up-to-date:

    Contact Form 7

    Popup Maker (wppopupmaker.com)

    All other plugins are deactivated. I have also flushed the cache at GoDaddy several times.

    When submitting the form, it takes 10+ seconds to submit. What can I dio to fix this? Thank you!

    Keep in mind that the form is NOT working when ALL plugins are deactivated and I am only running the Twenty Twenty-Four theme, Contact Form 7 and Popup Maker.

    I just tried it again by placing the form on https://speakerdynamics.com/form-testing, using Twenty Twenty-Three theme, and turning off ALL plugins except for Contact Form 7. It is still taking a long time to submit.

    I suspect that it is your hosting issue. I have used Godaddy hosting before and the speed is terrible.

    I tried loading your website and it takes me about 5 to 7 seconds just to load the page with the form.

    You can test by trying out other contact form plugin and see if you still have any speed issue with the form. If yes, then 100% it is due to your hosting.

    I upgraded our hosing package. It is a bit faster, but still taking 5+ seconds. Will live with it for now, but it seems slower than other forms I’ve used on other sites.
