• Hi,

We have a file upload field on our form that is expecting only .zip files. If you try to submit the form with a different filetype uploaded, the form will throw the correct “file type is not allowed” error, however the submission actually still goes through to HubSpot.

Is there anything we can do to prevent this behavior and ONLY submit the lead to HubSpot when the form is successfully submitted to GForms?

Let me know if you need more info.

    Thanks!
    Kyle

    Hey Kyle,

This is a curious issue. The plugin is set to run after a successful form submission, so it’s interesting that the file upload isn’t failing until after the submission clears.

I’ll need to look into this. Are you using a special plugin for the file upload, or native Gravity Forms?

    -Chris.

    Hey Chris,

Thanks for the quick reply! The upload is native GForms.

I appreciate your help with this situation. Let me know if I can provide an additional info or anything along those lines.

    Thanks again,
    Kyle
