Ha, of course they blame the plugin ??

You’re sure you have the correct Org ID entered?
Web to Lead is enabled for your account?
    Web host?
Anything in the debug log (when WP_DEBUG is enabled)?

Why did I get 2 email fields and 5 zip fields in my cced message? Can you post a screenshot of the form settings?

Of course…strange since they use your plugin as a selling point for us wordpress users.

Anyway the error was on my side with the wrong Org ID, sorry. Thank you for the quick response.

However, I am getting the same problem with extra fields. Except for me its 4 message fields and in the last two its putting my salesforce Org ID.

    I’ll include some screen shots:

I’ve never seen that before, and it makes no sense that you’d have multiple fields with the same name (with incorrect data) unless something else is messing with the $_POST data. Which means theme or plugin conflict.

Unless you can tell me what that is, I can’t even begin to troubleshoot it.

Standard troubleshooting procedure (for you) is:

Switch to a bundled theme to check for theme issues.

Disable all other plugins, then re-enable one at a time until the problem returns to find a plugin conflict.

I’m getting the same issue, although I’m using trial version of salesforce. Not sure if that makes a difference. ID is correct. I’ve reverted back to contact form 7 until I can resolve. https://www.jerichoconsulting.co.uk/contact/

Thought it would be useful to switch it on so you could take a look (please!).

In my CC’d message I got three message fields, two of which show the Salesforce ID.

    First off:
New issue = new thread please. Yes, even if it seems like the same issue (it often isn’t).

    Secondly:
it’s probably a theme or plugin conflict.

    Standard troubleshooting procedure:

    1. Check for theme conflicts:
Switch to a bundled theme (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014). Did that solve the problem?
If so, your theme is breaking the plugin. Talk to the theme vendor or request premium support to have me troubleshoot the issue with your theme.

    2. Check for plugin conflicts:
Deactivate all other plugins: Did that solve the problem?

If not, it’s an issue with your hosting:
Talk to your host or request premium support to have me troubleshoot the issue with your server.

If it did, it’s a plugin conflict:
Reactivate plugins one at a time until the problem returns. The last plugin activated is the culprit. Report back with that plugin name/link and I can troubleshoot the issue to determine if there’s a fix.

In my CC’d message I got three message fields, two of which show the Salesforce ID.

My bad, it was a bug. Just pushed 2.3.6 which should fix this.

    Nick,

I am having the same issue – receive a “Success” message (even with hidden debug field, no debug info) and nothing shows up in SF. Any logs that I can check anywhere??

I have 2.3.6 installed, no other plugins activated and I am using the WP 2012 theme.
