Form Submission Detected as Spam

  • Hi, I’ve got multiple users emailing me saying that when they try and register using login with ajax registration form, they get an error saying:

    Your form submission was detected as spam. Please contact us directly.

    I’ve confirmed that this just happened to me as well.

    I see no settings for spam detection or the error message related to it, or anything in the notes as to spam form submission detection.

    How do I resolve this?

    I think this must be connected with another plugin because this isn’t a feature of Login With Ajax.

    So another plugin is kicking in, hooking into login with ajax, and displaying a nice neat message within the modal.

    Interesting.

    Do you have any kind of security or registration plugins running?

    yes, thank you. We’ve resolved the issue. Was another plugin protecting registrations. It’s now been removed and replaced with another
