Form submission date (today's date)

It’s been two weeks and I’m still looking for a solution.

From a CF7 form submission I’m creating an invoice that’s being sent by email to the submitter of the form. This email invoice needs to show the date of submission. It’s not enough when the email header shows the sending date, I actually need the date in the email invoice text.

Anybody any idea how to make this happen? I’m not a coder BTW, so please keep it simple.
