Hey guys, need help with the Popup Maker Plugin. I’m trying to use the plugin to display a Mailchimp newsletter sign-up form from a short code.

The form is supposed to close for a couple of hours upon Popup Close (which works) and to remain closed for months upon Form Submission (doesn’t work). There is no cookie getting saved upon successful Form Submission, hence, the popup just shows up again despite an email subscription.

The triggers are connected with the cookies. I’ve tried making it work with the Trigger Time Delay/ Auto Open, then added a trigger Form Submission, then tested with both. The only cookie that saves is the one on popup close and that’s it. If it’s relevant, once a person enters a valid email and clicks submit, they are redirected to a different page.

No matter which setting I choose both for the cookie and the trigger, eg: Form Type: Any Mailchimp for WordPress Form / Any Supported Form / Subscription Form / Newsletter Sign up. Nothing works.

Do I need to buy this extension: https://wppopupmaker.com/extensions/mailchimp-integration/?utm_source=plugin-extension-page&utm_medium=plugin&utm_campaign=upsell&utm_content=MailChimp%2BIntegration-6 If so, I am very confused why is there already a Mailchimp for WordPress Form Type.

Could someone maybe help me? Thank you in advance.

    Hi @amitiel656

Thank you for reaching out, and we’re sorry the form submission cookie does not work on your popup.

Could you let us know the following?

    – Is there a redirect when the form is submitted? If yes, Popup Maker might not be able to set the form submission cookie.

    – If there is no redirection, could you share a screen capture of the popup settings – trigger?

Thank you, and we look forward to your response.
