Hi, The form on the page above, has suddenly stopped sending the confirmation emails. The user doesnt get the email confirming answers and the website owner doesnt get a form submission notification.

There has been no change to the form but it has recently just stopped sending, but as a user, the form can still be filled out correctly and the confirmation message of success is still seen.

I have tried to duplicate the form to a new one and change that, but still doesnt work.

Strangely enough the contact form on the website’s contact page is also built using this plugin and is still working normally.

    Hope you can help.

    Thanks

    Hi @samlutostanski,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.?

Could you please confirm if the form on the Contact Page shares the From Email address as the one that is not working? You can check this by going to WPForms Builder > Settings > Notifications

To troubleshoot the issue further, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct and some emails are not getting delivered, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

    I hope this helps ??

    Hi @kmacharia

thanks for replying to this and for the suggestion, but I already have an SMTP plugin configure to do exactly that. And yes the notifications settings are the same on both.

I have also now been told that this message is being shown when a user tries to submit the form on multiple attempts:

    Hey @samlutostanski,

Sorry, it looks like the image attachment did not make it through. Would you mind sharing a different public link containing the screenshot?

Also, it would help if you could share some screenshots of the notification settings on the two forms so that I can help to check for any errors.

    Thanks!

    Hey @samlutostanski,

The image in the first screenshot usually occurs when the form’s antispam token has expired and thus this should not cause any concern since it protects you from spam.

Back to the issue, I’ve reviwed the form configuration and it appears that both of the form notifications are sent from the same address and thus all emails should be delivered unless there is some content in Group Booking form that is not playing nicely with your spam filter.

If you don’t mind, would you mind replacing the emails in the “Send to Email address” field with a new email and let me know if the email will be delivered?

    Thanks!

    Hi @samlutostanski,

We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
