Form state sending

  • Hi.
    Now and then the form is stuck in send mode after submitting.
    What could be the reason for that? We have recaptcha installed. Could this be a trouble maker? How could we proceed to fix this? Is this a common problem?

    Customization: Form gets submitted, a connection is made with Salesforce (SF), the data is sent to SF, SF returns payment page link, customer is redirected to that page. This works splendidly most of the time but in some cases the spinning wheel just keeps spinning and nothing is happening..

    Try switching to the default theme, deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, Flamingo, WooCommerce and WP Mail SMTP, and clearing all cache data.

    Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

    Hey again. As mentioned, this issue only happens sparingly and trying to provoke the problem would most likely take days.

    I was wondering if you have any thoughts on why this could be happening. Have you heard of such behaviour before and, if so, what was done to prevent it from happening.

    Hi, katjavolker, I’m another CF7 user.

    If you’re having the problems intermittently, it’s possible that the connection to Salesforce could be causing your issue i.e. occasional network issues.

    Is the ‘Object Sync for Salesforce’ plugin responsible for your integration with Salesforce?

    @plantprogrammer thanks for your comment. The connection to SF gets established through a before sent mail call. The plugin does not have anything to do with the integration. It only syncs things down to wordpress.
    I believe your assumption is right.
    Do you know about Salesforce integration and issues like that?
