    Hi
I’ve just upgraded your plugin on 5 sites. 4 of them were OK after resaving settings (except for styling issues) but the 5th one is causing problems because I can’t go to the Forms screen – I get the white screen of doom. The only difference I can think of for this one is that the Mailchimp account has 3 lists to choose from. Could this be causing it? Anyway, I’ve reinstalled the previous version for now but if you could give me some tips then I would appreciate it.
    many thanks
    Mariette

    Hi Mariette,

Ouch, that is definitely not intended behaviour. The multiple MailChimp lists should not be an issue, we’re personally always testing with over 10 lists and I know of several users with over 100 lists..

To troubleshoot correctly, any details you could share would be much appreciated.

    – Do you see an error message of any kind?
    – Does your error log contain any details? You can check this by installing Log Viewer and then going to Tools > Log Viewer.
    – Do you happen to know which PHP version the server is running?
    – What is the URL that is shown in the browser bar when you encounter the error?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Danny

Thanks for your help. To answer your questions:

    – no error message
    – see error log info below
    – PHP 5.6.14
    – /wp-admin/admin.php?page=mailchimp-for-wp-forms

When I install the log viewer I get a variety of messages. Can I email the full log to you? It includes stuff like:

Notice: The called constructor method for WP_Widget is deprecated since version 4.3.0! Use

    __construct()

    instead….

Warning: array_map(): An error occurred while invoking the map callback…

Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘Exception’ with message ‘There is no form with ID 0, perhaps it was deleted?’…

    many thanks

    Hello Harish
Thank you for your support. I have since had other issues (eg, unable to upload images to Media Library, unable to run P3 Profiler to check plugin memory use) so I think there is something bigger going on. I will see if I can get to the bottom of these other issues before I bother you with the mc4wp problem as I think they may be related…
    many thanks

    Hi Mariette,

You’re probably right – hope you find the issue soon!
