I’ve got a simple register form using a shortcode. The form is set to go to a custom page after submit, and that page is published. When I enter a valid email address and submit, it takes me to the “MailPoet Page” instead of the page I selected in the form configuration. And, the email is not added to the Subscribers list, email list, and no email is sent. No errors are given at all.

I also can’t permanently delete any subscribers. Why is that?

    Thanks,

    Joe

    Hi @jpmootry,

When I enter a valid email address and submit, it takes me to the “MailPoet Page” instead of the page I selected in the form configuration.

This is odd. Can you please confirm you have made the changes in the correct subscription form and they have been saved properly?

Could you share with us the page where the form is placed, so we can test it?

I also can’t permanently delete any subscribers. Why is that

If you cannot delete a subscriber, it means they’re probably added to the?WordPress Users list?or the?WooCommerce Customers list.?

WordPress Users should be deleted as a User by going to the?WordPress dashboard > Users page: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/133-the-wordpress-users-list

Customers added to the WooCommerce Customers list?can not?be removed from this list or from the MailPoet plugin, unless you delete their order from the WooCommerce plugin. They can be marked as “Unsubscribed” though: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/278-the-woocommerce-customers-list

    Hi Bruna,

Thanks for the reply. I did sort out not being able to delete subscribers.

We moved on to a different solution after not being able to get the shortcode placement of a registration form to work. We’ll still use MailPoet for subscribers, but built our own custom registration form.
