Form not sending – WP 4.8

    Suppose after upgrading to WP 4.8 contact form 7 isn’t sending anymore.
    CF7 version: 4.8

    Customers are complaining and client gets mad.
    WP Update 4.8.1 is scheduled August, 1.
    Hope, I don’t have to wait ’til then.

    Thanks for excellent work in the past.
    This is the first problem I encounter with CF7.
    CF7 is the best contact form when sending requests!

  • I’m having a similar issue since updating WP to 4.8.

    The form hangs when clicking ‘submit’ and I get a mixed content warning (I am using SSL throughout my site) saying:
    Blocked loading mixed active content “https://my-site.com/wp-json/contact-form-7/v1/contact-forms/108/feedback/”

    Can’t find any troublesome files or links and am struggling troubleshoot this.

    Got a solution at least for https://schwefel-bor.de !

    My WordPress version is 4.8, I haven’t changed this.
    I’ve installed plugin WP Rollback and rolled back to
    Contact Form 7 version 4.7.

    It’s hard to believe, but now everything is working fine again.
    Hope, it’s working for you.

    I get rid of Contact Form 7 plugin as soon as possible.
