• So I updated S2member to v150722 last week and the form broke on my site. Updated it to this week V150827, but same result.

Here’s the link to one of the pages with the form,
    https://hungerpass.com/one-month-eater-membership/

When I open up the inspector from Chrome, I view Console and see these 404 errors,
    Screenshot

I’ve tried deactivating all my plugins one by one, I’ve tried changing my theme to twenty fifteen/fourteen and nothing changed. It was still broken.

Tried deactivating and reinstalling S2member with the Plugin Deletion Safeguards on and off.

I reached out to Godaddy to see if it was my server/SSL that was blocking it and they told me that not likely. They needed to know what S2member was looking for and where the file was to look into it further.

I’ve hit a wall and don’t know what else to do.
Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Isaac

Would this have to do with the 4.2.3 WordPress update?

I experienced something like this about nine months ago. The Inspector made me think, like you, that it was an s2Member problem. But it turned out to have nothing to do with s2Member at all.

Since my (very helpful) host couldn’t see anything wrong with s2Member, they suggested I deactivate it and take another look at the Inspector. This was very revealing. A whole new set of errors became apparent, caused mainly by an audio plugin I was using. Once I tackled them, I reactivated s2Member and everything worked fine.

My host told me that sometimes the Inspector can be misled because, if a specific file takes so long to load, the Inspector effectively times out and/or doesn’t see other errors that may be the true cause of the problem.

I did what you did and deactivated S2Member and checked out my site with the inspector, but I got no errors.

I’ve been trying to resolve this issue for a week now, but with no luck. I’m thinking it has to do with the 4.2.3 WordPress update, so in a few hours, I’ll try rolling back to 4.2.2 and see if that does the trick.

Rolling back to 4.2.2 didn’t do anything. Was hoping it would be that easy.. haha

Do you have a localhost clone of the site that you can test on? If that works fine, it would suggest that the problem is something to do with GoDaddy, or perhaps your .htaccess file.

I do have a localhost clone, but I haven’t kept it up to date with the live version. Updating it now and will test it out.

    Thanks for your help KTS915!
