    Hi guys,

I’ve added a green button “Vrijblijvende offerte aanvragen” that opens a modalbox in which i want to show a WP form. The modalbox came with the theme i purchased (Blake, by UpperINC).

If i open the modal box the form is shown. But if i don’t fill out the form and click away the modal box, it is conflicting. The buttons of my tabs aren’t clickable anymore.. As if the form is still active, although the modal box is closed.

Do you guys have any idea how to fix this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Oh by the way: the forms work fine when they are not in a pop-up.
Also: the pop-up works fine without the form.

When they are combined the conflict occurs.

    Hi petrr1,

I took a look at the URL you shared, and I believe I see the issue. The modal appears to be staying open even after it’s been closed. It’s a bit difficult to demonstrate this, but I recorded a screencast video while I was testing in case that’s helpful.

Essentially, the modal content is becoming invisible but the browser still “sees” it — so you can’t click anything underneath it.

It appears that this is happening because the modal code isn’t equipped to properly hide all contents. If you reach out to your theme’s developer, they may be able to help resolve this.

Or, it may be simpler to install a plugin specifically designed for popups/modals. There are a number of basic, free options in the WordPress repository, or you could check out WPBeginner’s article for the top premium popup options.

I hope these details are helpful! ??
