Form is closing when selecting a date in the datepicker field

  • Hello,

    I am using your plugin with pleasure, but I have a little issue. In the Forminator form plugin, when I try to select a date using the forward and backward arrows in the datepicker field, the popup form that opens is closing. Only the datepicker remains on the screen. How can I solve this problem? I have tried alternative popup plugins and they don’t have this issue, but I prefer using WP Popups and would like to resolve this problem. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    Hi @0123xyz ,

    The issue resides on the datepicker HTML being placed outside of the popup so the popup detects it’s as a external click and hence close the popup.

    Where I can send you a dev version of the plugin to try out?

    Hi Damian @timersys, a forum moderator has emailed me telling me that I should not have been posting on this topic, and that I should create my own thread, and has deleted all of the posts between us! This despite you acknowledging and originally apologising for not responding to my much earlier original thread, and then subsequently engaging in the issues with me on this thread – can you contact the moderator and get them to see sense? This seems extremely heavy handed and unfair, not just to me but to any other users of your plugin who also use Forminator and are facing the same issues. There doesn’t seem to be any way of contacting the mods directly so I would be grateful for your assistance.

    Hi! Yes it doesn’t make any sense to me either but I don’t have a way to contact them either. The plugin update will be released later this week.
