Hi, first of – thanks a lot for this great plugin!

    I’m using Spectra v 2.7.11

When I insert a form with Google Recaptcha (V2), the captcha element is not mobile friendly as it has a fixed width inside the embedded iframe.

As the element does not adhere to responsive size changes, the layout breaks. (recaptcha element being bigger than the site/viewport width.)

I’ve tested it outside and inside container elements – same result.

I suggest giving us the option to use the compact version of recapchta. You could give us 2 radio buttons in the admin backend to choose which version to use: regular/compact.

Read all about the render parameters at google:

    https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/display#render_param

I’ve tried overwriting your call to load the compact version instead, but to no luck, or I’m doing it wrong ??

Anyways – thanks for an excellent plugin with many usefull block items.

    Hi @rustenrat,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

I have tried it on my installation and recaptcha V2 is working fine. Here is the reference video: https://d.pr/v/8SlKDr

Please check and let me know if I am missing something.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Have a nice day!

Hi, thanks for getting back to me.

Saw your video, try making the responsive window smaller than 400px – I usually dont design for anything smaller than 320 but once you go down to that scale, the captcha form element dosen’t rezise and breaks the rest of the page layout.

It can off course be discussed if this is a fringe use case ??

    Hi @rustenrat,

I tried to check on smaller sizes even 320px, I am seeing page design is not broken, however, on a very small size reCaptcha field does not have the same size as other form fields. Here is the reference video: https://d.pr/v/u1kRVA. I will share this with the concerned team as an improvement. Please let me know if I am missing something.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Have a nice day!

thank you, that is the issue – which is easyly solved by using the compact version of captcha – see inital post for that.

Depending on the theme and how bad the code is, this can break page design.

thanks for looking into this and have a good day
