I have just started working with wpforms so may be missing the obvious; sorry if that is the case. I wonder if there is a field validation option – check for specific characters, number field, email format, max-length etc.?

Perhaps this is set using ‘conditional logic?’ = pro
I don’t see it in the list of pro features.

    Any guidance would be appreciated.
So far I am really impressed with the functionality. Thank you.

  • Hey @kusalo – Thanks for contacting us!

The WPForms individual fields like email or number fields come with the validation feature. If you would like to have the max-length, you can take a look at our documentation here. Further, the conditional logic offers more features, and it comes with the paid version of WPForms. If you would like to learn more could you please drop us a line through our contact page when you get the chance?

    Kindly,

Thanks Prashant – Bottom line I am thinking of code injection which I would think a pretty high priority with forms (any user-data input). It is mentioned as a pro feature but I didn’t see much detail. ‘Conditional Logic’ mostly seems to offer show/hide.

I have a very small (27kb) validation script I often use and, for now, will see if I can get that into the works. I am relatively new to WP so may find a way – or hit the multi-tool wall?

BTW the WPforms setup is great. thx

Hey @kusalo – I’m glad that you found WPForms setup great. For now, I’ll close this ticket, but please feel free to reopen if you have any questions. ??
