    Hello WP forms,

I have installed your plugin a while ago. Anyway, I receive this info about the number of form entries to my email and I can see that it is increasing, that people want to contact me. BUT, I cannot find the messages from people anywhere! Where do I find them please?

    Thank you.

  • Hello @thefoodspiration,

    Thanks for contacting us!

I apologize for any confusion. However, the WPForms Lite entries are not stored in WordPress and only exist in the email that is sent.

If you’d like to learn more about form notification emails, here’s our tutorial with all the details. In Lite, you’re able to set up one notification email — however, you can send this one notification to as many different email addresses as you’d like.

And if you have any suggestions on how we can better clarify the entry page notice in Lite, please let me know any suggestions. Here’s a screenshot with our current wording from the Lite Entries page.

While our Lite plugin isn’t able to collect or store entries in any way beyond sending out the email, some hosting providers do log emails that are sent out from the sites they host. So if you need to try and recover undelivered emails, the best next step in trying to find records of previous entries is to contact your site’s hosting provider to ask if they do this.

Could you please let me know if you have any questions?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

But I actually have the notification e-mail set up, but I can never see what people wrote me! Everything is correct according to your tutorial, so I don’t understand why.

    Hello @thefoodspiration,

I apologize for the late response to your support request.

To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

    I hope this helps ??
