Form email placeholder text issue

    Hello.

    I have created a form in Forminator however when I go to update and preview, the placeholder text placed in the email field is not showing. It is showing my admin WordPress email address. All of the other fields are displaying my placeholder text, except for the email field.

    Could someone please guide me here?

    I checked this on a test website but was unable to replicate the issue, the placeholder on the email field works fine at my end.

    Please export your form and share it with us using Google Drive or DropBox to take a closer look at the issue.

    On the back end, I am seeing what I placed in the placeholder, but when the form is live or in preview mode, it shows my administrator email address.

    Hello @puregemme !

    Thank you for sharing the export.

    The reason why the email is being filled in is because you’ve enabled the Autofill option on the Behaviour tab for the form. It’s set to be enabled and fill in the current user’s email address.

    Because of this, if a user is logged in, the form will take the email address from the user’s profile. When someone is not logged in, they will see the placeholder instead.

    Thanks. Corrected and now I’m seeing the placeholder info.
