    Hi

I have the form on a reservations page here.

It doesn’t seem to work if there is other content on the page. I have copy pasted the form over to another page here where it is working. But if I add any other content to the page, the form stops showing.

    Any help much appreciated TIA.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello elbow,

According to the HTML page source for https://istanbulkitchenandbar.co.uk/reservations-alt/, that div is empty. Here’s a screenshot for reference: https://ibb.co/cL0Mc7b. Furthermore, there are no references at all in the code for the body of that page to our plugin. So it’s not even getting rendered.

How did you add it within your Elementor setup? Shortcode, block?

Also, are you by any chance using a cache plugin? If so, could you delete your cache and see if that makes a difference? It could perhaps just be that it’s serving an old version of the page.

Hi jaysupport, thanks for getting back to me

It’s in as an elementor widget called ‘booking form’ specific to the plugin, but also tried it in a shortcode widget. They both work, as long as there’s no other content in there but when other content, eg header, is added, it doesn’t show front end.

I’ve done a super quick video here to show how it works in the page editor until the other content goes in.

    Thanks again, appreciate any help.

I apologize for the late reply. I’m not sure why that scenario isn’t working correctly on your end. We don’t do much testing with Elementor (the majority of testing is done with WordPress’s Gutenberg editor as, if it works with that, it should work with all third-party builders unless they have an issue). However, to make sure, we installed Elementor on our demo site and created a new page with it, which you can view here: https://www.fivestarplugins.com/five-star-restaurant-reservations-demo/reservations-with-elementor/

You can look at the page source code to see that it’s built with Elementor. We added the booking form as well as a heading and a text block. And they all show. We did have to make a minor CSS adjustment because it wasn’t aligned perfectly. I wonder if that’s the case for you as well?
