• Hopefully you guys can I help, I need to get this fixed pretty urgently.

I am running two contact forms on my website that a slapdash coder put together. I have created this form: https://www.maestrolondon.com/trade/, which when you click submit, has the arrows in constant spinning motion and I receive no email in my email inbox.

I duplicated this form: https://www.maestrolondon.com/contact/, which works perfectly. I am not an understudy of jQuery or Ajax so I don’t know what I am looking for. I merely duplicated the php template, changed the title and applied that to the new form.

Probably an easy solution to fix for most of you, but I am struggling and need it fixed before tomorrow morning. I would love a speedy resolve.

    Kindest Regards,

    Steve

You are using Contact Form 7 v2.4.5 which is released two years ago. The latest version is 3.4.1. You should update it first.

I was having a similar problem with the arrow spinning and error handling not working. I hope that my solution can help someone else. I was ripping my hair out because it had been working perfectly a few days before. I had been fine tuning the site in prep for a release, but still had the problem after disabling all newly installed plugins.

If I removed the file upload fields from the form it worked – but I needed those!

Finally I narrowed it down to a conflict with an embedded MailChimp form I had in a sidebar widget! I had used the embed code because none of the MailChimp plugins I had tried did what I want. I didn’t even consider the form when troubleshooting because it wasn’t a plugin.

I used Chrome’s tools to watch the console errors – that led me to a javascript error in a MailChimp file. Problem solved!

Thanks for the replies. I have updated all plugins, including Contact Form 7. No change. I then deactivated all plugins except CF7 and swapped to the default theme briefly to test and it still didn’t change anything.

Hi Sbhuvan, seems that your email address has been removed. Use the contact page linked in my first post to send me an email marked for my attention referencing the contact form and I will be able to email you.

    Thanks.
