This form used to work when I set it up months ago. I have other contact forms on the site that do work.

The calculations section does not calculate and the back end is set up accurately.

The form will submit (even without entering payment) but doesn’t actually submit, it gives the below error.

There has been a critical error on this website.

I spoke with my site host, A2, and they advised to reach out to you as it looks like something is wrong with the library modules.

    Can you please help?
    Thank you!

    Hi @chrisane

    I hope you’re well today!

First, please do try to re-install the plugin and after that clear all cache on site/server.

If the issue is still happening:

    1. please share the form in question with us; to do that – export the form, upload export file to your Google Drive, Dropbox or similar account and post download link in response

    2. let me know about
    – WordPress and PHP version that powers your site
    – what plugins are currently active on the site (and if they are all up to date)

    Kind regards,
    Adam

Hi Adam! Thank you for getting back to me!

It told me I cannot delete as it is active on the main site…

I did the download and it is here -> https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ysZBAYyRsII1Nl-tn5oU90mo6vpyeZww/view?usp=sharing

PHP – 8.1 (just updated but nothing changed)
All plugins are up to date – I have Autoptimize and w3 total cache and async JavaScript… These are the only plugins that could have an effect, but I deactivated and reactivated all and nothing changed.

If I need to figure out how to delete the plugin completely, I can, but I don’t want to loose all the data if I don’t have to.

    Thank you so very much!

    Hi @chrisane

Could you please make the Google link public?

    It is returning Access Denied.

A fatal error will add a line in the debug.log file, can you please enable the debug mode: https://wpmudev.com/blog/debugging-wordpress-how-to-use-wp_debug/ and share the error line?

If I need to figure out how to delete the plugin completely, I can, but I don’t want to lose all the data if I don’t have to.

By default, Forminator saves the forms in the database and it is set to preserve the data on uninstallation in WordPress > Forminator > Settings > Data.

So you shouldn’t lose the data, but it is always important to make a backup of your site.

    Best Regards
    Patrick Freitas

    Hello @chrisane ,

We haven’t heard from you for several days now, so it looks like you don’t have more questions for us.

Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.

    Kind regards
    Kasia
