I installed this in December and it seemed to be working fine. I have the form in a pop-up in the footer. I noticed today that when I click the link to the popup, sometimes the form is there, but mostly, it’s not displaying. I tried clearing my cache and also tried on multiple browsers. Any ideas? The site is gretchensgoodeats.com.

    thank you for any help
    Julie

Hi Julie, You currently have an embed form created in your account. You cannot use an embed form to show with a button click. Please create a popup form and use the code provided for that form in the Publish step. Link to a support article for Instructions on how to accomplish this task is also provided in the Publish step.

    Thank you for the response.

I didn’t use the popup choice because I don’t want the form to automatically show on the page when it loads. I couldn’t figure out how to turn that function off and just use the pop up code on a link.

I am currently using an embed code in a widget that’s connect to a pop-up modal in the theme. Is that not possible?

Julie, Each form has its own display parameters and popup form is specifically designed to work with show on button click criteria as well. Please create a popup form, go to the Behavior step and remove all selections under When to Show tab. This will ensure that the form does not shows on itself when the page is loaded. Then add the code provided for that form in the Publish step to your link and then test in incognito window.

Thanks, that worked great. I was already using a modal window that would open with the form, but replaced it with your pop-up. Appreciate the help.
