Good morning, I am redoing the site. I switched from divi to Astra and elementor.
I have always used forminator and was happy with the power and ease. And I would like to continue using it. But I am having problems in this new theme. I am making the changes in stage living, I don’t know if it is useful to know.
    The problem is this:
From elementor I insert the shortcode block from forminator. And I display it. But as soon as I display the page, I don’t see anything anymore just the possibility to edit it. I log out as admin and see nothing. What can this depend on? Thank you for any help. Regards

    Hi @iruam

I hope you’re well today and thank you for contacting us.

If you don’t see it when you’re logged-out, the first thing to check would be the “Enable logged-in submissions only” option in form’s “Behavior” settings – make sure that it is not enabled.

However, I suspect the issue here is different so if it’s not a matter of that option, please try following steps (one by one):

    1. fully purge all cache on site/server if there is any
    2. in Elementor – regenerate assets by going to “Elementor -> Tools” page and clicking on “Regenerate Files & Data” button.

    If this still doesn’t help:

    3. in form’s “Behavior” settings try switching the “Load form using AJAX” option to opposite to what it is currently (disable if enabled or enabled if disabled), update the form and check again

    4. if that still doesn’t work, edit the page with the form and remove form shortcode; then instead of shortcode add the “Forminator Widget” module to the page. You’ll find that module under “WordPress” section in Elementor’s elements.

If that also doesn’t work, please share a link to the page in question with us so we could take a look.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

as always you are fantastic in your support thank you very much.

I solved with point 3 and also enabled ‘Prevent page caching on form pages’.
    Did I do it right?

    Thanks again

    Hi @iruam

“Prevent page caching on form pages” will help additionally in this case to simply not cache the page where the form is located.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

    Thanks for your help.
I’ve posted the site, and I’m trying to send myself contacts, but I’m not getting anything. What can it depend on?

    Hi @iruam

Hope this message finds you well.

    I’ve posted the site

Do you mean the site is live, and published?

I’m trying to send myself contacts, but I’m not getting anything.

I am guessing you are saying that you are submitting the form and you are not getting the submission email. If so, Forminator triggers the mail function used in the site to send emails, usually the WP default one. To guarantee email deliverability, you might use an SMTP. This will also prevent the email from going to SPAM.

    Let us know your comments.

    Best regards,
    Laura

Yes all right, before I changed the theme it worked now it doesn’t.
Where do I change smtp? In forminator?
    Thank you very much

    Hi @iruam,

Forminator doesn’t have any configuration for SMTP, you’ll have to use an SMTP plugin to configure SMTP so that the emails will get sent based on the SMTP configuration.

You can check the Branda plugin which also supports setting up SMTP settings as mentioned here:

    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/branda/#smtp

Or any other SMTP plugin according to your requirements should also work.

    Kind Regards,

    Nithin

Hi, I enabled the smtp plugin, but I still wasn’t receiving any e-mails. I think I have resolved the anomaly. Inside forminator an incorrect mail was indicated and 2 captcha checks v2 and v3 were active. I deleted the first one.
Now the contact page is sending correctly
