Form Buttons CSS not working

Also where did you set the specific CSS for the buttons?

Also the theme doesn’t use to load a custom.css file from the child-theme.

I know there isn’t any code currently as i took it out since it didn’t work

the code i used was

Well it’s hard to say what’s going wrong with a CSS code when it’s not there ;).
Anyway…

In that form on the page you linked there’s no input[type="submit"] nor an button[type="submit"], there’s only one button which is an input with a type “button” attribute:
input[type="button"].

You might want to use a page inspector tool to grab the correct CSS selectors you need when you want to customize your CSS:
