    If you ever encountered this error, the cause might be certain characters in the inline message. After experimenting for myself, I typed a message in French (accents and apostrophe usage is common). Accents are ok. When clicking on “update”, it will save. But I soon I typed a single apostrophe (‘) and tried to save, I have the message as shown above. I just found another way to say what I wanted without using that kind of character. Unless there’s a confirguration somehere to allow special characters. I would be happy to hear it.

    I hope you are doing well.

    I tried to replicate the issue on my lab site but was unable, could you let us know which string you tried to enter?

    That sounds like the server firewall may blocked the request, could you click on right button of mouse > inspect, then switch to network, clear all the data there and click on save again, you should see the admin-ajax request, it will probably show any status other than 200, click on it and then switch to “preview”
