    Hi Alberto,

You can do whatever you want with the code as long as you don’t violete the GPL licence, which basically means you can not claim to be propietary of the work. The resultant work has to be open source and you have to reference the authors.

It is hard to contribute to this code since the only repo used is the svn provided by wordpress. We may change that in the future by creating a repo in github.

Keep an eye on the project.

    Cheers,

    JF

Thank you JFederico for your reply.

It would be nice to have the project available in github and fork it from them. By the way, we can work in our one.

But how do you like to have the new version available in WP? do you prefer to update the current one or create a new plugin? In case of you prefer the update the plugin instead to create new one, it would be very useful to have your repo in github in order to work in only one version, I mean to work directly in your version.

    Regards.

    Hi Federico.

I notice you set up a git repo for this plugin.
I want to make some changes in my project, but before I would like to know if I make the changes in your project through pull requests, how much time do you think you merge and update the plugin in wordpress plugin list?

    Regards.

The github repo is now constantly updated but master has the latest version still in development (2.0) and the branch 1.x has the current version that is also in the WP repo.

However, keep that doing a PR doesn’t mean that it will be accepted/merged. While we are happy to receive contributions for fixing bugs, new features should be discussed in advance. You can open an issue in the github repo as well.
