Forgotten Admin/Password

    I have forgotten the Admin/Password combination for a few sites which I set-up 12 months and have done nothing with since. I am novice WordPress user, please can you help?

  • Have you tried the “Lost Password” from wp-login.php

    It should send the password to the email account you set it up with.

    If you don’t remember the email address then you can find it along with the user name from phpMYAdmin on the _user tables

    Where do I find the phpMYAdmin on the _user tables…..like i said, I am still a novice?

    Do you have cpanel where your hosing your site?

    If so phpMYAdmin will be near the bottom of the page.

    Click on it then go to the database that was made when you set up WordPress and click on it.

    You’ll find the wp_user table closer to the bottom as the tables are alphabetical.
