Forgot password using admin area

If you have a forgot password link that is going to the wp-login.php, then that link is probably generated by the WP function wp_lostpassword_url(). That function has a filter in it that you can use – lostpassword_url – to point to wherever you want it to go.

WP-Members includes a lost password reset as part of its [wpmem_profile] shortcode. There is more information on this here:

If you have a page set with this shortcode and have identified the location of that page in the plugin’s main options, you can retrieve the location of it using the following function in the plugin’s API:

wpmem_profile_url()

For purposes of using that function to generate a link to the lost password page (i.e. if you were filtering the WP lost password url as mentioned above), use it like this:

wpmem_profile_url( 'pwdreset' );

For some reason, the profile page is showing me the logged in version even though I am logged out… thoughts? The only thing in the content is the shortcode.
