I have specified a redirect_page in the forgot-password shortcode but it is not going to the page specified. Somehow it is pulling the permalink to the page that has the edit-profile shorcode in it. I went to that page and changed the permalink, and verified that the form is now going to the new link. Very weird…

I found why it was breaking. I also use the FE Login/Logout Toggle widget. This has the edit profile link in it. I checked code and both forms are submitting to ‘#’. As soon as I removed the widget, my redirect is working correctly.

    Hi Garry,

Thanks for the information about the widget. It looks like there might be a conflict between the redirect_page attributes from the two different shortcodes appearing on the same page (when you have the widget enabled and have something in the login redirect field in the widget). We’ll take a look to see if we can pinpoint exactly what’s causing the conflict.

    Etoile,

Has there been any progress in resolving this issue?

    Hi Garry,

Unfortunately, this conflict between the two features hasn’t been corrected yet. We’ve had to focus on a few other issues that we’re just updated/fixed in our latest releases.
