Forgot Password not sending emails

    I have been trying to get this to work for awhile. Whenever I try to reset a forgotten password the email never shows up. I can get emails whenever I create a new user account and I get woocommerce order notifications as well as error message notifications, etc. I’ve installed the WP Mail SMTP plugin and tried sending a test email with it and it gets delivered. However, the password reset email just never shows up. I’m using ver 3.2.9.3 of the WP-Members plugin.

    If you’re sending through an SMTP account, that usually resolves most email issues. I would suggest starting by determining if the message is sent. Assuming your email account is set to keep a copy of sent messages, then start by checking the sent folder to determine if the message is going out.

    If it’s in the sent folder, then the issue is on the receiving end.

    There is nothing in the sent folder. The system sends email from Contact Form 7, Woocommerce, when new user accounts are created and any error message generated by the web site. The only problem that I’ve seen is with the forgotten password email.Is there a log file somewhere which will show me an error?

    Problem was with Host.
