• This is the best gallery software because it’s like the native WordPress gallery but has the extended functionality you’ll need. Obviously well thought out from the ground up.

Also you’ll get to utilize its features because the plugin author is very helpful so you can gain the maximum advantage of the plugin; in a short space of time I was able to resolve the main questions I originally had without fuss or bother and it’s motivated me to get my project up and running which is still a work in progress.

What’s great is the mapping of the metadata in your uploaded file into WordPress. I was able to take keywords from my files and turn these into tags. Then with the help of a custom code to display these tags as clickable links on my attachment page for each image. If you think WordPress’s attachment page is a waste of time, think again. Also there are other mapping settings to populate the standard WordPress meta boxes of Description, Caption, Alt text and Title from your uploaded file.

Tip: use do_shortcode to use [mla_gallery] in your attachment template file with some accompanying PHP for even more power!

And all quite easy to set up. But from reading the Documentation of Media Library Assistant I’m sure I’ve only scratched the surface.
