    Hello,

    I have WP6.4.2 and WooCommerce 8.4

    Under the My Account page, the Forget Password not working. It does not go to the right page.

    Please advise the correct link path for this “Loss your Password?” function?

    In which file I can edit the link code?

    I understand the forget password does not work and does not go to the right page. Once the link is clicked, could you please clarify what happens? Does it open a different page? If it does, could you please share what page it leads to?

    • System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
    • Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    After reviewing the SSR of your site I noticed a few plugins that might have modified the default behavior of WordPress login and password reset functionality.

    These are the plugins in question:
    – Login/Signup Popup – Security Add-on: by XootiX – 1.0
    – Login/Signup Popup: by XootiX – 2.5
    – OTP Login/Signup Woocommerce Premium: by XootiX – 2.1

    Could you deactivate these plugins and try clicking on the Forgot Password link?
    Please make sure you clear the cache after deactivating the plugins.

    The link for that is https://mydomain.com/my-account/lost-password/

    Also, I noticed you have removed the actual website URL from SSR.
    Would it be possible to share the URL?

    I want to know what is code for linking Forgot Password on My Account page to reset password.

    By default, the “lost password’ link should show under the login button on the My Account page. Also, once you’ve logged in, you can change your password from the ‘account details’ edit tabs. It means you don’t need to create and link this page manually.

    Click the link it still back to the same page. I can see same page path. How to link to correct page?

    Could you please navigate to WooCommerce, then go to Settings, and finally Advanced? Once there, could you look under the Account endpoints section and let me know if you see “lost-password“?

    If the lost password endpoint is already there but still not working, could you please navigate to Settings > Permalinks? Once there, click on “Save Changes” without altering anything to flush your permalink settings.

    However, if you want to change the lost password page or redirect it to another page, you need to use an additional plugin or custom code.

    Thank you for your details advising. I checked the Account endpoints?and done the Settings > Permalinks. They are all fine. I still need the link address for the “lost-password“ and also the file(s) name where I can edit existing link mysite.com/my-account/ to correct address instead.

    Thank you for confirming that the account endpoints and permalinks are correctly set up.

    The file you want to edit the link is in the WooCommerce templates. Specifically, it’s located in the woocommerce/templates/myaccount/form-login.php file. However, directly editing the file is not recommended as it could be overwritten with future updates.

    Instead, you can create a child theme and override the WooCommerce template in your child theme. This way, your changes will persist even after updates. Here, you can find detailed instructions: https://woo.com/document/template-structure/#how-to-edit-files

    For the “lost-password” link, it’s usually yoursite.com/my-account/lost-password. If it’s not working, there might be a conflict with your theme or another plugin. You may try temporarily disabling all other plugins except WooCommerce and switching to a default theme like Storefront to see if the problem persists.
