• I’m a writer and use my site for promoting my books. Forget trying to copy and paste excerpts into Gutenberg – it randomly decides to REMOVE SPACES from words. It’s not intuitive at ALL, and frankly, I think this was debuted WAY too soon in the dev cycle. Should NOT have been forced on users. I’ve installed the Classic Editor plugin and will continue using that. If I wanted to manually code my site by hand, I never would have switched to WordPress.

Any way to give this plugin ZERO stars?

ETA: Tried it again, STILL HATE IT. I’ve installed the classic editor plugin on all my sites that I run, and helped friends who also use WP install the classic editor. NONE of us like Gutenberg. Time to give it up, WP. If you want to make Gutenberg a plug-in, okay, but ship WP default with the classic editor, because Gutenberg is NOT ready for production. Not when everyone else is still used to things like Gmail’s interface, etc.
