• I am using WordPress for a membership site.

I want to keep the main action in the WordPress user database, rather than use some system where it’s all done externally.

As a matter of “best practice”, if an existing user goes to his/her profile page and updates the email address, I’d like to force WordPress to send them a reconfirm email.

I don’t want to just assume they got the new email address correct (since there is no “repeat” field, etc).

Has this been done before? Anyone wanna point me in the right direction?

    Cheers,

    -Alister
