I’m opening another support topic because I’ve just noticed that the Alt text that appears when I hover over any thumb in the related posts is: “Forced to wrong size 94×150, natural is 312×500!”

Basically, I selected the rounded thumbnails format and chose one of the custom sizes I create (100×150 px) through Genesis as a new size to select. That’s because when I selected the no-style option and input my own numbers for the pixels, the list of related posts was returned in rows and not in columns

So now I have my post in columns, but when a reader hovers over the images, they won’t get the title of the post but that strange error message.

Is there a chance to remove that somehow and replace it with the actual post title?

Here is an example of what I mean:

Edit – I’ve noticed this happen in Google Chrome, but not in IE (I don’t have FF installed, so I can’t check there).

I don’t know where that alt text is coming from. This isn’t something generated by the plugin. The plugin uses the post title as the alt text so there might be something overwriting this.

Are you in a position to disable other plugins and only run this one?

Ok, I still don’t know exactly what is going on, but I found online another thread (not on this forum and not related to your plugin) where someone complained about the same. It seems the culprit is the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin, and – which is crucial right now for me – it only shows the message when I’m loogged on to the site. And it’s true, I loaded the page in Chrome Incognito, and all was good.

So right now I guess it’s non-issue really since visitors to the site can’t see it anyway. Still, I’ll leave this post up in case anyone else is searching for this error – it’s a nuisance if it happens, but nobody else can see it but us.
