• I have the facebook app built, and authorized. I (Chris Maverick) am the admin of the FB Page (Vox Popcast). However, whenever I make a test post on the WP site, it posts as a “Visitor” rather than as the page itself.

The posts are also not importing comments from Facebook, but I suspect that might be a sub-issue of the first problem and that once the posts go to the right place, this might fix itself (but I don’t really know)

    WP site: https://voxpopcast.com/wp
    FB page: https://www.facebook.com/pg/voxpopcast/posts

Any idea why I am being forced into the visitor section?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Understood. You also mentioned submitting your own apps for review and walking us through the process if they get approved. Were they already rejected?

    All our submissions are pending.
Facebook resumed app review 10 days ago. They also asked all existing apps to be re-submitted until Aug 1st. They said review might take weeks or even months.

does SNAP Premium API still needs a Facebook App to publish posts to Pages or does this tool use an alternative way? the reason for my question is to see if I can overcome the whole “Facebook App Approval/Review” situation.

@alijabari, did you see my answer to you two posts above?

SNAP Premium API is not based on native Facebook API so it does not have any of its bugs, complications and limitations.
The whole point of SNAP API that it replaces the native Facebook API.

No need to Facebook apps, not need for reviews.

Would you please post the steps for submitting app to the new FB API 3.0, so we can follow them, as time seems to be of an essence?

Please update to version 4.2.6. It has another possible workaround for this issue.

Please update to version 4.2.6. It has another possible workaround for this issue.

    1. Re-authorize plugin.
    2. Select your profile in the “Where to post” dropdown.
    4. Save settings.
    5. Click small green “Refresh” button. (!!The most Important step!!)
    6. Select your page in the “Where to post” dropdown.
    7. Save settings. Try to post.

I followed the steps you wrote me there! Still not working! I’m using your pro plugin version and the plugin posts as my profile and not as page.
