Forced product twice when purchasing it directly

  • Hi,

    I have 1 main product and 9 optional products.
    Ordering the main product should be possible without any force sell.

    When ordering the 9 optional products the main product should always be added to the cart.

    In case I order multiple optional products and afterwards the main product, the main product is in the cart twice even though this should not be the case.

    Can I ensure that the main product should be in the cart only once, independent fromm whether it was added manually or automatically?

    Hello,

    Products that added to cart by customers and products that added by our plugin are different and plugin do no thave option to remove one, when other added.

    You can do it only with help of custom code.

    thanks for the fast reply.

    Is there any custom code you can offer? Because at the end of the day it is the same product and at least for me this looks like a gap in the functionality.

    We do not have custom code for it.

    It seems specific functionality for your site, we do not have request for such functionality before.
