• You are forcing me to download and activate this plugin just so I can use the WooCommerce android app! This is ridiculous! My plugins out perform every single aspect of jetpak and as such I will never use any of it’s functions nor install it by choice on any of my sites, but yet you are stuffing it down our throats just to use an app on the playstore that drops connection all the time whenever you close the app.

I will not be changing my ratings or review until you remove the forced download!

Hello there – thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. We understand that installing additional plugins may not always be convenient, and we appreciate your feedback.

The Jetpack plugin is a necessary component for the WooCommerce app to establish a secure and reliable connection with your WordPress site. It provides essential functionalities that ensure a seamless experience while using the app. While we recognize that you may have plugins that perform exceptionally well, the WooCommerce app relies on Jetpack for specific functionalities, and that’s why we need the Jetpack plugin to be installed on your site.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we value your input as we continually work to improve our products.

If you have any specific concerns or issues related to the app’s connection dropping, we would be more than happy to assist you in resolving them. Your feedback is important to us, and we are committed to providing the best possible experience for our users.

This is not true, before connecting my site to the google listings for adding products to the google merchant, i was able to log into the mobile app without the jetpack plugin, using my local wordpress accounts. Now that i have been forced to make the connection to wordpress.com, i am not able to log in to the app anymore with my local accounts.

Hi @bellakaroo, I get that you want to use the WooCommerce app but don’t need all the features of the Jetpack plugin, that’s fair.
While a Jetpack connection is required for the WooCommerce app, note that you can turn off any Jetpack features that you don’t want from the Jetpack Modules page (see guide). I hope it helps.

Hi @utill, (update), please ignore my previous message, I see you posted in a separate thread, and will reply there accordingly.
