    Hi,

I am currently facing the issue that the xml file I am trying to import from a specific URL is not having the encoding set to UTF-8. Instead, nothing is set for the encoding …

Is there any chance to enforce the file to be imported using UTF-8? I ain’t have the possibility to adjust the xml file.

    Best regards,
    Sebastian

    UPDATE:

This was a mistake on my end.
The XML file I am importing contains strings like: “Baden-Württemberg” which are shown as “Baden-Württemberg” on the WordPress frontend.

While trying to load a post by its title, I realized that the Data is stored in the original format within the database: “Baden-Württemberg”.

Is there a possiblity to convert this, so that “Baden-Württemberg” is stored within the Database instead of “Baden-Württemberg” ?
