• Hi,

I’ve been using Cerber for as my goto security plugin for a couple of years, I do love it, but IMHO it’s lacking a critical security feature and that’s the ability to force strong passwords! (unless I’m very much mistaken?). We all know that one of the biggest security vulnerabilities is idiot users setting their passwords to ‘admin’ or ‘123456’ so that they can remember them, so why aren’t the authors of this plugin addressing this critical issue? I have looked at a plugin called ‘Force Strong Passwords’ but this isn’t foolproof and it doesn’t work on ‘Forgotten password’ scenarios, so it’s a non-starter. I do know that Wordfence does have this feature, so I’m wondering if there are any plans to implement such a feature in Cerber and if so, when?

    Many thanks
    Kevin

    Hi!

The plugin is developed for years as a security solution. So we’ve been focusing on security algorithms and the most important features that protect a website from hackers, spammers end malware. That’s why you don’t see such a feature in the plugin. But I think it’s reasonable to implement it. The time has come.
