Force pages to display in desktop mode on mobile

I am looking for a way to force my website to be shown in desktop mode when viewing in a mobile browser. The reason being that with the theme I’m using all animations such as the parallax effect and image fade-ins etc. become disabled when viewing in mobile mode. However when choosing ‘view desktop mode’ on a mobile it shows the exact same compact layout just with all of the animations enabled which is what I want. I’m looking for a way to force these pages to be loaded in desktop mode straight away since no one is going to manually switch it themselves when visiting the site. I don’t particularly want to dive into the HTML settings or anything as I haven’t created a child theme and don’t want to mess the whole thing up, although if that’s the only option I guess I’ll have to get learning. Any advise would be useful. Thanks.
