    Hi,

Should be very simple but can’t get it to work.
I’m trying to set Woocommerce for visitors in Dutch.

Site language (General settings) is set to Dutch.

I also have the Loco translate plugin and there the Woocommerce plugin is also fully translated.
Still woocommerce stays in English for the customers.

    Thanks!

  • Hi!

Which locale are you running? nl_NL or nl_BE? nl_NL has WooCommerce 97% translated and so that would have translation files, whereas nl_BE (Belgium) translation doens’t have that high percentage and therefore isn’t a translation available yet.

    Greeting,
    Jeroen

Are the po and mo files uploaded to the right directory?

I am using the nl_BE version. In Loco translate this version stands as 100% translated, I can also see all strings are translated.

    The files are in languages/plugins/woocommerce-nl_BE.po
Should they be moved or is this directory correct?

I found that my theme is the issue. With translating the theme file I see that woocommerce gets translated now. Annoying but at least I found out why.
