Force image resize to specific dimensions
-
Hi,
I am using WordPress 4.1.1 with latest version of NextGen Gallery (fresh install).I would like to know where and what to change in NextGen PHP code so that all uploaded images (and thumbnails) are set to specific fix dimension for e.g 500×500 without preserving the aspect ratio.
I have tried with no. of settings combinations i.e. thumbnails and image Settings under “Other Options” but all preserve image dimensions (aspect ratio) i.e. image width is resized to 500px and then accordingly the height is sized for e.g. 500×350.
I want to resize for e.g. an image with 200×300 to 500×500 on upload and accordingly have the thumbnails created to 500×500, without preserving aspect ratio.
I do not care about the aspect ratio or the image quality.
