• I don’t think this is a problem specific to this plugin, but I am hoping that someone here might recognize the cause of this really strange problem: after a user visits the five main pages of the website, THEN the user logs in, I’m still seeing the “Log in” link and not the “log out” button. In fact, all dynamic content that should change according to a logged-in user vs. a logged-out user does not work UNLESS I refresh the page.

NO cache plugin is active nor is server-side caching active.

Anyone know what might cause this?

It seems the solution is to force a ‘clear cache’ of the user’s browser after login, but I have no idea how to do that… or why it should be necessary if no cache is active.

My apologies if this isn’t the right place to post this, but I am at my wit’s end! Any and all help appreciated.

    Best,

    Tim

  • I would second this request

Sometimes a user will see an earlier version of the page served up, as if it is their local cache not refreshing.

Some posts/pages will not detect the login change. In my case, I have a Learn Dash Course that they have to login to enroll, but when they return to that course page, it doesn’t detect the login. THey have to do a CTRL+R reset.

I don’t know if that is unique to this plugin, or something bigger.

I don’t it’s related to this plugin, so may not be authors responsibility to fix, but not sure where to start looking.

    same happening to me:
WordPress + WooCommerce + WP Fastest Cache

    Check this plugin reBusted!
It forces browsers to load the most recent file if modified.
