Force Currency/Decimal Format

    My chosen WP locale sets the decimal separator to be comma (example: $5,12)
    I’d like to force WordPress to use the period as decimal separator (example: $5.12) either for my chosen locale or irrespective of any locale.

    I have not been able to find any code snippets that work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Have you tried setting the period as a decimal separator in WooCommerce → Settings → General → Currency options?

    Yes, of course. But that only affects Woocommerce. I have a membership plugin that works outside of Woocommerce and does not inherit the format settings from Woocommerce. It’s a global WrodPress setting somewhere. That’s why I did not post this in the Woocommerce forum, but in the general WordPress forum.
