I searched for this, and may have missed it. Where’s the option to force ALL comments into moderation, to be approved by me? I thought this could be done, but I don’t see where to do it.

I have Bad Behavior and Spam Karma installed.

Thanks, and sorry if this has been covered.

The boxes are all checked. It’s not working. Any idea why?

Do you have the tick in the box for ‘Comment author must have a previously approved comment’ – if so try removing it but leave the tick in the box for ‘An administrator must always approve the comment’.

That’s the way it was originally, and it wasn’t working. So, I went back and ticked everything. Still doesn’t work.

How about clearing any cookies for your site…

Then trying to submit a comment under IE to your site, don’t approve the comment. I think it should still appear for you though when looking at the post.

Then try to connect to the same post with FF (or another browser) – the comment shouldn’t show as it should be waiting approval.

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I was at work and couldn’t access my email to…access my password so I could log on.

I figured it out. Spam Karma has a plugin that you have to install, in order to force all comments into moderation. You can’t do it, if you don’t have that plugin. I uploaded the file, into the general Spam Karma folder, instead of the Spam Karma plugins folder. That’s why my comments weren’t being forced into moderation.

As always, thanks for your timely, helpful responses. I love you all. I’d be in a perpetual “hot mess” without ya!

    Till next time…

A Nappy Girl, what plug-in are you referring to? I’m having the same problem, that no matter which options are ticked on the Discussion page, nothing changes. Because I’m being harassed by someone, I really need to have all comments moderated at least for the time being and nothing works like it’s supposed to on the Discussion page.

Blocking the person’s IP also blocks other people’s ability to participate, so that’s a last last resort.

UPDATE: Never mind, I think I found it. For anyone else’s future reference, the plug-in is SK2 – Moderate Plugin and it can be found here
