Hi. Is it possible to force the tabs to load accordion style? I’d like to display tabs in a sidebar widget in accordion style.

If this is not possible then I’ll look for a different plugin, but it’d be cool if it is possible with this plugin so I don’t need to install anything new.

Thanks for the help, as always!

To force the tabs to be shown as an accordion, you can use a custom set of styles as described in the documentation (or by using the optional tabby responsive tabs customiser plugin) and setting the responsive breakpoint (defined in the CSS media queries) to a large value such as 9999px

you should be able to use the shortcodes without any problems in a text widget.

Thank you for replying. I’m sorry, I’m probably just being blind but could you point me towards the proper documentation? I can’t seem to find it.

    Thanks.

Also, just FYI that I only want the tabs in the widget to load accordion style. The tabs in the main content of my website I would like to load as normal. Would making changes apply to all tabs?

EDIT: Actually I think it’s that part on the main plugin page, but it definitely looks like it would apply to all tabs. If that’s the case then I’ll have to look for a separate plugin.

The plugin was designed to use a single set of styles for all tab groups, however you should be able to use more specific CSS selectors to target only the tabs within widgets.

I see. That sounds a little too complicated for me so I’ll just find a plugin. Thank you for your time!
