    Hello,

All of a sudden I’m getting “*** Forbidden. You sent forms too often. Please wait a few minutes. Anti-Spam by CleanTalk. ***”

Looking at the CleanTalk logs, it looks like the form builder is getting a nonce on every load. See cleanTalk ID: 026b5b39adecc9e832d64c564bf66bb2

    How do I resolve this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @alanwpeasy,

Please, reset the plugin settings to the default values. The guide is here:
    https://cleantalk.org/help/plugin-template

Then clear your website cache. Make sure that the website cache is 24 hours or less.

It will fix the issue. Did it help?

I reset the settings as per the instructions. The website uses LSCache, I did a “Purge All”. Then in an incognito window did a CTRL + F5.

I’m still seeing the same error.

I tested the form Contact Us, no issues found here.

I also tested the Search button on the homepage, I see a website request generated by each search enquiry, it may cause some filtration issues as the search queries may happen very often.

    Change this option here:
    ? WordPress Admin Page → Settings → Anti-Spam by CleanTalk → Advanced settings →
→ set the option “Check email before POST request” to “Off” → Save Changes.

Could you tell me what plugin this Search form is built with?

Changing that setting made no difference.

Also, I get the same warning on the contact page. That page does not have the search form.

The filters / search are from the Houzes theme.

We have fixed this issue. The fixed version can be found here: https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/fix-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip

All the changes made will be included in the next stable release. So I’m going to mark this thread as “resolved”.
