CleanTalk was working fine. I don’t know what changed, but now whenever I try to submit my Contact Form 7, I see this message:

*** Forbidden. Please enable JavaScript. Antispam service cleantalk.org. ***

Javascript is enabled. All form types are enabled in CleanTalk’s settings.

When CleanTalk is deactivated, the message doesn’t appear, and the form content is emailed to me as expected.

I’ve tried deleting CleanTalk and reinstalling it. No change.

What could be causing the problem?

Hello, sorry to inform you that the last updates do not fix this problem

Try to creat an account on our website, and you get the Erreur: *** Forbidden. Please enable JavaScript. ***

    https://vidya-ayurveda.org

It doesn’t let new customers create an account.

If no fix, we will deactivate clean talk and request a reimbursement.

sorry, we love your plugin but this is preventing people from creating account and buying our products

    Hello AlainMinnoy,

    Thank you for contacting us!

It looks like caching issue. Let’s change settings, please follow this,

    1. Go to,
WordPress console -> Setting -> CleanTalk -> Advanced settings

    2. Set option ‘Use AJAX for JavaScript check’.
    3. Save settings.
    4. Submit dummy account, the plugin shouldn’t return to you any error notices.

    Does it work?

    Hello,

    I’m getting the error message:

    CleanTalk. Spam protection

*** Forbidden. Please enable JavaScript. ***

It happens when I “calculate shipping” in our WooCommerce / WordPress store.

Do you know what might be causing the error?

    Hello, ctm2010!
    Sorry for this issue!
We’ll fix it during 1-2 days.
Also, additional information will be helpful: your site URL, version of WooCommerce, installed WooCOmmerce plugins/themes and its versions. You can send it to my email: gorbatov at cleantalk dot org

    Hello!
Try to switch off “Check all post data” option: Admin panel->Settings->CleanTalk->Advanced settings-> Check all post data -> No, Save settings
Let us know, if problem repeats.

Hi there, I’m getting the same result on my installation of CleanTalk. This is a critical issue for me as customers are not going to try more than once so each one is a lost cause.

    CleanTalk version: 5.36.1

    My site: https://www.scizoo.co.uk

    Many thanks
    Chris

    Sorry for this issue!
Try to switch JavaScript checking method: got to admin panel – settings – CleanTalk – advanced settings, disable option “Use AJAX for JavaScript checking”, save settings. Let u know, iw it will help you or not.

    Hi Vlad
I tried that already – didn’t make any difference.

    Hi Chris,

    thank you for update.

My dummy post on main page the plugin has been rejected without JavaScript issue (it was rejected as blacklists issue, but this is ok because I have used the test email – [email protected]).

So, looks like this issue is occurred not for all submissions. Any way, please let us know the caching plugin name and the name of contact form that you use. We will check them with CleanTalk and do our best to resolve this issue.

    Thank you.

    With best regards,
    Denis.
